July 29 - August 4, 2025Join us for the Jubilee of Youth and the canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati in Rome! 2025 is a Jubilee year in Rome and an incredible time to visit the Eternal City. ALP is offering a pilgrimage with some structure and a lot of freedom for you to choose between the various events going on in the city for pilgrims. This is a great opportunity for both individuals and groups. Our lodging is in the center of Rome, so you will be able to come and go freely between events, meet new friends, and enjoy “la bella vita” in Italy.

ITINERARY
ROME, ITALY
Day 1: Arrive in Rome, get settled into the lodging, and attend the welcome Holy Mass by the Diocese of Rome in Saint Peter’s Square I Dinner as a group afterwards
Days 2 & 3: Choose from a variety of cultural, artistic, and spiritual activities throughout the city of Rome for the Jubilee of Youth I Enjoy breakfast and dinner with the group each evening
Day 4: There is a unique opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo) in Rome I Nearby, enjoy views of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum
Day 5: Today there will be entertainment, music, and testimonies at Tor Vergata I Evening Vigil with the Holy Father Pope Francis
Day 6: Attend the canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati I Closing dinner with the group and a stroll around Rome
Day 7: Departure for the airport in the morning I ALP will arrange private transportation for you

LODGING
We will be lodging in the beautiful guest accommodations of a religious house in central Rome. The bathrooms will be en-suite and you will likely have 1 or 2 roommates of the same gender from our group. There is a beautiful chapel and indoor courtyard on the property, and we are a stone’s throw away from some of the main sights in Rome.
EATING
We eat mainly at restaurants. Menus may be limited to fixed options or set menus. Breakfasts provided are in the local style (typically not as hearty as American style). We can accommodate most food allergies.
LUGGAGE
You may bring any type of luggage with you on this trip. This particular itinerary is not a backpack-only pilgrimage. We will provide a detailed packing list.
PRAYING
Prayer is at the heart of our pilgrimage. Daily mass, the liturgy of the hours, the rosary, and other prayer opportunities are available throughout the pilgrimage for you to join as you like.

Details
Arrival
Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):. Staff or a private driver will be at airport the morning of arrival day to greet you. The official pilgrimage start time is 2pm- please arrive before then. Please wait to buy your plane tickets until you receive a trip confirmation from us.
Departure
Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): The official pilgrimage ending time is 7am, but we will be providing private transportation to the airport until noon on departure day.
Insurance
Each pilgrim should have health insurance. We highly recommend purchasing traveler’s insurance as well.
Eligibility
Individuals and groups are welcome. Under 18 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.
